Just 35 minutes NE of Nice and the airport, on the dazzling Cote d’Azur, with its beautiful scenery, and miles of sun drenched coastlines lies La Parare. It is a charming, historic 17th century farmhouse entirely built of stone and with a backdrop of the French Alps.
Staying in the guest rooms at La Parare means enjoying a “special” place where the landscape, romance, and comfort are in harmony. All rooms are equipped with a private cozy sitting area, design bathroom, and easy access to the terrace and the garden.
Each day will begin with a meditation, and yoga followed by an exquisite breakfast. When the weather is warm we’ll gather for meals on one of the terraces or under the olive trees and during the cooler days in front of the fireplace. After breakfasts, we will explore the fantastic hiking trails from La Parare and enjoy a nice pick-nick. Dinners are served at La Parare – nice home cooked three course meals with aperitif and wine.

We will take an afternoon excursion to the coast to visit the fascinating medieval village of Eze http://www.eze-tourisme.com/en/ situated about half way between Nice and Monte Carlo. From there we will visit Rothschild villa and garden with a hike around Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. Then on to visit Villa Kerylos http://www.villakerylos.fr/ which is a beautiful and rare site.
As an alternative, you might like to visit the Chagall Museum in Nice. http://musees-nationaux-alpesmaritimes.fr/chagall/
A French cooking class can be arranged as well as other excursions.
The hosts of the La Parare Bed and Breakfast, Sydney and Karin, are lovely, and welcoming and both speak English. When we first stayed at the property, it felt like we had come to visit old friends.
La Parare, charming B&B on the French Riviera, is located in Chateauneuf Villevieille about 25 minutes drive from downtown Nice & 35 minutes from Nice international airport.
